Elder Viva Jackson Cotton is a servant, intercessor, teacher, and a dedicated woman of God. She's a native Houstonian; the third child of eight to Dorothy Jackson, and Harold Jackson Sr.

Viva confessed Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 12 and was water baptized (1968). In February 1997, Viva received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues. She attributes her spiritual growth in the Lord to the men and women of God at Holman Street Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Sheperd- Teacher Dr. Manson B. Johnson Sr.

Viva sensed the pull of the Holy Spirit calling her to a higher walk with Him.

In January 2013, the Holy Spirit led Viva to the ministry of Turning Point Faith Ministries under the spiritual leadership of Apostle Dr. Cassandra Scott.
